Sometimes

Sometimes you do everything right, and yet everything goes wrong.
Sometimes you can't see that outside of the 500 variables you already had struggled so deeply to get right, there were another 500 that were never under your control to begin with.

Sometimes life can feel pretty damn shitty.

But, I guess it's in these times, when life shows us its ugliest face, that we must not let it crush us. It's in these times that we must spare a day and let ourselves break down, and sob, and be angry, and complain about life being unfair. But then when that day is up, we must get up, brush ourselves off and start over.

Being bitter about the past will not change it. Being anxious about the future will not shape it.

So all that's left to us, really, is having the courage and the strength to keep going and keep trying, no matter how hard it gets, no matter how hopeless things look.
If you still have breath in you, you still have strength in you.

So chin up. You can do it.
